Ghost Robotics is based in Philadelphia and builds quadrupedal robots designed for harsh environments and field repair. Since 2024, South Korean defense company LIG Nex1 holds the majority stake in the company.
The Vision 60 weighs 51 kilograms, carries ten, and is deployable from minus 40 to plus 55 degrees according to IP67. It is deliberately built modular: legs, battery, and separate sensor heads at front and rear can be swapped in minutes; attachments are secured via T-slots and Picatinny rails. An NVIDIA Xavier processor runs five full-HD cameras, four depth sensors, and an RTK-GPS with two antennas. The drivetrain is reversible, allowing the robot to continue operating even upside down.
The Vision 60 is the most widely deployed quadruped in military and government applications. Users include the US Air Force, the US Department of Homeland Security, AT&T, the Ohio Department of Transportation, and the Japan Self-Defense Forces. From an export control perspective, the device is classified as EAR-99 and is not subject to ITAR restrictions.
