AiMOGA Robotics is the robotics division of Chinese automaker Chery and was founded in 2024. Its headquarters are in Wuhu in Anhui Province, with a second location in Shenzhen added later. Unlike many robotics start-ups, the company does not start from scratch but leverages the manufacturing, supply chain, and regulatory experience of an automotive group.
The best-known device is Mornine, a service robot approximately 167 centimeters tall with forty degrees of freedom, deployed in showrooms, at receptions, and at trade fairs, and available for direct order in China since April 2026. There is also Argos, a 13.6 kilogram quadruped with twelve joint motors, 5 kilograms of payload, and approximately two hours of runtime. Both devices run on the proprietary language model MoNet, which operates directly on the device with six billion parameters and supports eleven languages. Perception relies on 3D LiDAR, depth cameras, ultrasound, and ring microphones depending on the model.
AiMOGA ranks among the most widely deployed Chinese robot brands commercially and has supplied over three thousand units to more than sixty countries according to the company. Certification is particularly relevant for Europe: Mornine has passed CE-MD and CE-RED as well as the cybersecurity standard EN 18031, verified by TÜV Rheinland according to the company. This standard is increasingly becoming an entry requirement for networked devices in the European market, and so far only a few humanoids meet it.
