PsiBot was founded in Beijing in 2024 and combines in-house hardware development with a consistent AI approach. The company positions itself as an embodied AI provider where hardware, sensors, and model come from a single source.
The humanoid Psi V1 is 175 centimetres tall, with 42 degrees of freedom in total and 22 in the hands alone. At its core is the hierarchical VLA model Psi R1, which connects a planner and a controller via an Action Tokenizer and can autonomously execute long-horizon manipulation tasks. The model was publicly demonstrated on Mahjong scenarios.
PsiBot is one of the most technically ambitious embodied AI startups in China from the 2024 founding cohort. The fully in-house developed stack, consisting of hands, body, and base model, distinguishes PsiBot from competitors that rely on supplier components.
