Psi V1 is an embodied robot by PsiBot from Beijing that combines a mobile base with a humanoid upper body. The company describes it as a dexterous mobile execution platform for its AI models.

Construction

The robot has adjustable height and measures approximately 175 centimeters, with a weight of around 150 kilograms. Without an end effector, it has 20 degrees of freedom, plus a dexterous hand with eleven degrees of freedom, designed as a tactile five-finger hand. Battery runtime exceeds five hours.

Technology and AI

An NVIDIA Orin AGX with 64 GB serves as the computing platform, providing approximately 275 TOPS. Perception includes three RGB-D cameras and five fisheye cameras, with a six-dimensional force sensor at the end of the arm.

Market Significance

With its mobile base and tactile hand, PsiBot aims for human-like reach and dexterity. The Psi V1 is intended as an execution unit within the PsiBot ecosystem, which ranges from AI control to hardware.
