Techman Robot was founded in 2015 in Taoyuan and is a subsidiary of notebook giant Quanta Computer. As the first Taiwanese cobot company to go public, it has been listed on the Emerging Stock Market TPEX in Taiwan under the ticker 4585 since September 2025. Techman employs around 440 employees.
The unique selling point of the TM robot series is a camera system integrated into the robot head that directly connects vision processing and robot control. The portfolio is complemented by TMflow software, TM 3DVision, and AI-powered quality inspection solutions such as TM AI+ AOI Edge. The mobile robot TM Xplore I with Nvidia Jetson Orin is currently under development.
Techman is primarily present in electronics manufacturing and the precision industry, and distributes through more than 100 partners in Europe, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia. The integration of vision and motion control in a single system is considered a key competitive advantage compared to traditional cobot providers.
