In December 2024, One Equity Partners completed a majority stake acquisition; Stellantis remained as a minority shareholder. The company employs around 3,700 employees and operates 7 innovation centers as well as 12 manufacturing plants in 12 countries.
Comau offers robot arms, cobots as well as complete manufacturing systems for the automotive industry, e-mobility, logistics and pharmaceutical industries. The product range includes the S family for welding and material handling, the MI.RA/OnePicker system as well as the exoskeletons MATE-XB and MATE-XT. In August 2025, Comau acquired Italian intralogistics specialist Automha to expand its warehouse automation division.
Comau is one of the most experienced European robotics suppliers and serves customers in industries such as automotive, shipbuilding, food and renewable energy. The spin-off from the Stellantis group under One Equity Partners is intended to give the company greater growth flexibility.
