PrimeBOT, known as Qiyuan in Chinese, is the robot brand of Swancor Advanced Materials from Shanghai. The company is listed on the Shanghai technology segment STAR Market and originally manufactured resins and composite materials, including for wind power plants. In 2025, humanoid manufacturer AgiBot took control of Swancor. Since then, the company has been building robots for end customers under the PrimeBOT brand.
The small humanoid Q1 measures 88 centimeters, has 22 degrees of freedom with proprietary quasi-direct drives, and a shell that can be customized via 3D printing. The T1 switches between a wheeled humanoid and quadruped form depending on the terrain. For developers, there is an open SDK and HDK. According to the company, manufacturing follows automotive standards, with one unit coming off the line every two and a half minutes.
Within the AgiBot ecosystem, roles are clearly defined: AgiBot serves industry and commercial sectors, PrimeBOT serves the consumer market. With prices starting at 19999 Yuan, the Q1 and T1 are among the most affordable humanoids and personal robots on the market. For 2026, the company plans to invest approximately 500 million Yuan in research and development. Whether small humanoids establish themselves in the home is uncertain, but PrimeBOT is among the first to attempt series production.
