Overview

The T1 is the second model from PrimeBOT, the end-consumer brand of Shanghai-based Swancor, which is part of the AgiBot ecosystem. It was first unveiled in July 2026 at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference WAIC in Shanghai, with sales launching on September 20. Delivery begins October 1. PrimeBOT describes it as the world's first transformable personal robot.

Construction

The T1 has two configurations. When upright, it rolls as a wheeled humanoid with a torso and two arms; when needed, it folds into a quadruped and walks on all fours. The robot is said to change configuration automatically depending on terrain. The robot stands one meter tall, weighs approximately 16.3 kilograms, and can carry up to three kilograms. It overcomes steps up to 15 centimeters and slopes up to 30 degrees. As a quadruped it reaches 3 meters per second; on wheels, 2.5. The standard version comes in white, brown, yellow, and gray; the Pro version in pink, green, gray, and violet.

Technology and AI

For orientation, it uses five depth sensors based on time-of-flight technology, two color cameras, and two fisheye lenses. The Pro version is equipped with an NVIDIA Orin Nano, avoids obstacles all around, and drives independently to the charging station. In daily life, the T1 is intended to converse with the family, help children with learning, and also film thanks to an optional camera. The manufacturer does not list degrees of freedom or battery life on the product page.

Market Significance

At CNY 19'999, the T1 costs the same as the small humanoid Q1, with the Pro version at CNY 29'999. PrimeBOT is thus not betting on a single form factor, but testing two pathways into households in parallel. The transformable approach is technically appealing because it combines the maneuverability of wheels with the terrain capability of legs. Whether families will actually pay for this remains an open question. For research and development, the company is budgeting approximately 500 million yuan for 2026.
