Pink Robotics is the robotics brand of Anyscrew GmbH from Darmstadt and was founded by Christopher Helmke. The team previously built automation hardware and then explored potential applications in construction, agriculture, defense, and logistics. They chose the humanoid form factor because it integrates most seamlessly into existing workflows. In August 2026, the company unveiled its first prototype.
The P0 measures 175 centimeters, weighs 82 kilograms, features 32 degrees of freedom, and can carry eight kilograms. Notably, the manufacturing depth is unusual: structure and casing are produced via in-house 3D printing, combined with precision laser welding. The demonstrations shown so far are remotely operated, while the team simultaneously trains vision-language-action models for autonomous operation.
The company pairs its launch with pointed criticism of the German robotics sector and aims to demonstrate that a humanoid robot can be developed domestically. A pilot test is planned at a distribution center of a major supermarket chain, with a seed financing round running in parallel. A commercial product does not yet exist, but for Europe the project remains noteworthy because serious humanoid ventures outside China and the USA are rare.
