Overview

The P0 is the first humanoid from Darmstadt-based startup Pink Robotics and was unveiled on August 25, 2026. The brand is backed by Anyscrew GmbH, which previously built automation hardware. After reviewing potential applications in construction, agriculture, defense, and logistics, the team decided on a humanoid form factor because it best fits existing workflows. The unveiling took place without a trade show presence, via a company video and presentation.

Construction

At 175 centimeters tall and weighing 82 kilograms, the P0 remains within human proportions. It features 32 degrees of freedom and carries an 8-kilogram payload. What stands out is the manufacturing depth: structure and housing are produced in-house via 3D printing, complemented by precision laser welding. The housing is dark gray, with large round actuator housings at the shoulders, and the face is a smooth black visor without eyes or a mouth.

Technology and AI

The company has yet to publish details about the drive system, battery, computing core, and sensors. What is known about control: the demonstrations shown are remotely operated, and the team is in parallel training vision-language-action models to enable the robot to perform tasks autonomously later. This is the standard approach for a device at this development stage, but it's worth keeping in mind when viewing the videos.

Market Significance

Pink Robotics is making a clear statement critical of Germany's robotics landscape and aims to demonstrate that a humanoid can also be built here. A pilot project in a distribution center of a major supermarket chain is planned, and the company is concurrently raising a seed round. The P0 is not yet a commercial product, and no price exists. For the European market, it remains interesting because the number of serious humanoid projects outside China and the USA is limited.
