Oversonic Robotics was founded in 2020 in Carate Brianza near Milan by astrophysicist and entrepreneur Fabio Puglia and Paolo Denti, former CEO of Thun. The company develops cognitive humanoid robots for industrial and medical applications.
The flagship product RoBee is, according to the company, the only humanoid robot simultaneously certified for both industrial and medical applications. It is available in two variants: the R-Series for manufacturing and logistics applications, and the M-Series for healthcare and rehabilitation. In December 2025, Oversonic signed a supply agreement with STMicroelectronics for the deployment of RoBee in multiple global semiconductor facilities.

The company is positioned at the intersection of manufacturing and medicine, which distinguishes it from purely industrially-focused competitors.
