Mentee Robotics was founded in 2022 in Israel by experienced professionals from artificial intelligence, computer vision, and machine learning. The company, headquartered in Herzliya, develops the humanoid robot Menteebot, which can learn through training rather than requiring extensive programming.
The Menteebot combines locomotion, real-time perception, three-dimensional mapping of the environment, and natural language understanding in a single system. The third generation, Menteebot V3, features actuators that are three times stronger and newly designed hands. Training relies heavily on simulation.
In early 2026, driving assistance specialist Mobileye announced the acquisition of Mentee Robotics for approximately 900 million USD. This gives the technology behind Menteebot a financially strong partner and brings it closer to series production readiness.
