KUKA was founded in 1898 by Johann Joseph Keller and Jakob Knappich in Augsburg and is today counted among the most renowned names in global industrial robotics. Since 2016, the majority stake has been held by the Chinese Midea Group. The company generates annual revenue of approximately 3.9 billion euros and operates in more than 50 countries.
The portfolio ranges from classic industrial robot arms to collaborative robots and autonomous mobile robots (AMR), as well as complete production systems for the automotive, electronics, and logistics industries.
