Overview

Tora DoubleOne is a mobile humanoid robot from Chinese company PaXini Tech, which is particularly known for its tactile sensing technology. The robot is designed as a universal platform for professional industrial use and is not intended for private use.

Design

The robot features a foldable design and can be adjusted in height from 1.46 to 1.86 meters, allowing it to adapt to different tasks. It has up to 58 degrees of freedom, reaches a maximum speed of around 2 kilometers per hour, and operates for up to eight hours. Gradients up to 8.5 degrees and obstacles up to 21.5 centimeters are specified. The foldable chassis simplifies transport and storage.

Technology and AI

Perception is provided by 3D LiDAR, fisheye and depth cameras, as well as ring-shaped microphone arrays. An AGX Orin system serves as the computing platform, with modular hands. On-board AI enables autonomous task execution and safe collaboration with humans.

Market Significance

PaXini positions Tora DoubleOne with extended operating time and swappable battery for real-world deployment rather than laboratory demonstrations. At CES 2026, the company presented a full-stack strategy for embodied intelligence, in which tactile infrastructure plays a central role.
