Overview

The Alice M1 is a mobile humanoid robot platform from South Korean company AeiROBOT. It is designed as an industrial robot and aims to meet the requirements of modern manufacturing.

Construction

The Alice M1 is equipped with 31 degrees of freedom and weighs approximately 97 kilograms. Instead of bipedal locomotion, it relies on a stable, omni-directional wheeled platform that allows it to navigate complex industrial environments. A special feature is the telescopic hip, which allows the robot's height to be adjusted between 130 and 180 centimeters. Each arm has seven degrees of freedom, the hands have six, enabling comparatively human-like reach for manipulation tasks.

Technology and AI

For computational load, an NVIDIA AGX Orin module is used, which handles AI processing and autonomous navigation. For environmental perception, it uses 3D LiDAR and stereo cameras among other sensors, with which the robot should detect and avoid obstacles in real time.

Market Significance

AeiROBOT presented the Alice series at CES 2026 and positions the M1 as an industrial platform under the guiding principle of a robot for everyone. The company also relies on NVIDIA tools to reduce training costs for its humanoids.
