Overview

Isaac 1 is the second robot from U.S.-based Weave Robotics, headquartered in San Francisco, and was unveiled on June 11, 2026. Unlike its stationary predecessor Isaac 0, which folds laundry, Isaac 1 is a mobile home robot that tidies up living spaces. The company was founded in 2024 by two former Apple and Carnegie Mellon engineers.

Design

The robot moves on a wheeled base and, with its soft green housing and friendly digital face, is intentionally designed to look like a finished consumer product rather than a prototype. For grasping, it uses simplified two-finger grippers with orange tips. In addition to the Sage green color, other options are planned, including Anthracite, Blue-Gray, Terracotta, and Espresso.

Technology and AI

Isaac 1 is designed for everyday tidying—recognizing scattered objects and placing them in the right locations. Weave relies on foundation models from Physical Intelligence and draws on operational experience from the Isaac 0 laundry-folding robots. Tidying is considered significantly more challenging than laundry folding because the position and type of objects are hardly predictable.

Market Position

Weave deliberately positions itself as a task-specific alternative to full-humanoid providers like 1X Technologies. Rather than offering a universal robot from day one, the company prefers to quickly bring functioning products to market. Isaac 1 can be pre-ordered via a waitlist and will be delivered first to existing customers.
