Overview

Eno is the first universally deployable robot from Genesis AI, a company based in San Carlos, California, and was unveiled on June 16, 2026. Unlike most competitors, Genesis AI deliberately avoids a humanoid form. Production and initial customer deployments are planned for late 2026, accompanied by a partnership with LG CNS.

Design

Instead of moving on two legs, Eno rolls on a mobile base. Mounted on it is a slender tower made of movable segments that adjusts its height and reach in real time and can be folded together for storage. The most humanoid feature is its dexterous hands, which replicate the form and function of the human hand so the robot can use existing tools and environments. On request, there is a variant with a display screen that shows in real time what the robot is currently planning.

Technology and AI

Eno was developed together with the company's proprietary base model GENE, so that the body and AI are coordinated as one system. According to the manufacturer, the robot understands a given goal, remembers relationships, and independently plans multi-step tasks over extended periods. The dexterous hands are designed to perform tasks with millimeter precision.

Market Significance

Genesis AI has raised 105 million US dollars in seed capital, including from Eclipse, Khosla Ventures, and Bpifrance, as well as from individuals such as Eric Schmidt and Xavier Niel. Eno first targets industry, logistics, and laboratories, then services such as hotels and hospitals, and later the home market. With its wheeled-base concept, the company deliberately sets a counterpoint to the trend of humanoid robots.
