Overview

The CASBOT W1 comes from the same manufacturer as the CASBOT 02, Beijing-based company Beijing Zhongke Huiling Robotics. Unlike its bipedal sister model, the W1 features a wheel-based platform with a humanoid upper body. It was unveiled in summer 2025 at the World AI Conference in Shanghai.

Construction

The robot combines a differential-drive chassis with a large vertical lift column, extending the working range from ground level to approximately 2.1 meters. Each of the two arms has seven degrees of freedom. The modular design is made of aluminum alloy and engineering plastic.

Technology and AI

Beyond the electric servo actuators in the arms, wheel motors power the base. The sensor suite includes RGB-D cameras on the head and chest, a 360-degree LiDAR mounted at the hip, an IMU, and a microphone array. Computing power is provided by an industrial computer with Intel i9 processor and NVIDIA graphics card. The control system is called CASBOT Embodied Brain 2.0 and combines perception fusion with autonomous task execution.

Market Significance

The W1 is intended for logistics, manufacturing, retail, inspection, and research. An official unit price has not yet been published; the robot is in a pre-series or early market phase.
