AlphaBot 2 is the production model of the AlphaBot series from AI2 Robotics, a company founded in 2023 in Shenzhen. Display manufacturer HKC ordered over 1,000 units valued at approximately 500 million yuan, distributed over three years. In June 2026, AI2 Robotics also raised 735 million US dollars at a valuation of around 2.8 billion, including from state-owned and industrial investors. This positions the company among the best-funded robotics start-ups in China.
