Overview

The Tien Kung 2.0 is a bipedal humanoid from X-Humanoid, Beijing's innovation center for humanoid robots. The focus is on natural locomotion, adaptive balancing, and autonomous navigation.

Construction

The robot stands 170 centimeters tall and weighs 70 to 90 kilograms depending on the configuration, featuring a lightweight metal frame. It reaches speeds of up to twelve kilometers per hour and moves over stairs, slopes, sand, snow, and uneven terrain while compensating for disturbances. With over twenty degrees of freedom and five-fingered hands, it is designed for bimanual coordination. Swappable dual batteries allow for extended operation.

Technology and AI

Perception is achieved through LiDAR, cameras, and force sensing. The Tien Kung 2.0 is powered by the AI platform Wise KaiWu on NVIDIA Jetson Orin and handles autonomous tasks such as sorting and grasping parts as well as multilingual interaction. Sensors, manipulators, and control modules can be modularly adapted.

Market Significance

The Tien Kung 2.0 is already in use at an unmanned production line at Foton Cummins' engine plant, where it handles material flow between different shelf heights and container types.
