Overview

The VR-H3 is a humanoid robot from Vietnamese manufacturer VinRobotics, part of the Vingroup conglomerate. It was presented as a prototype at international tech events in 2026 and is designed for industrial tasks.

Construction

At approximately 178 centimeters tall and weighing 75 to 85 kilograms, the VR-H3 is a robustly built biped. 31 actuators drive its joints and replicate human-like movement patterns. The batteries can be swapped during operation, allowing the robot to continue working without extended downtime.

Technology and AI

The control system relies on reinforcement learning with bio-inspired gait regulation, which should enable stable, natural walking on varying terrain. Two onboard edge computers process sensor data locally in real time. The VR-H3 achieves approximately 1.5 meters per second, which corresponds to average human walking speed.

Market Significance

VinRobotics positions the VR-H3 for factories and demanding environments, underscoring Vietnam's ambitions in humanoid robotics. Specific pricing and series production launch details have not been announced yet.
