The Motion 2 is the second-generation humanoid robot from VinMotion, a robotics company within the Vingroup ecosystem. Its predecessor, the Motion 1, launched in mid-2025.

Construction

The Motion 2 operates with 31 proprietary motors and can carry approximately 40 kilograms on its back according to manufacturer specifications. A central design principle is autonomy—the robot can right itself after a fall and automatically navigates to a charging station when its battery is low.

Technology and AI

For on-board AI processing, the Motion 2 uses the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ10 chip platform. At CES 2026, the robot demonstrated impressive physical capabilities, such as lifting heavy loads. Additional features include multilingual interaction and the ability to synchronize multiple robots.

Market Significance

VinMotion targets the Motion 2 toward logistics, manufacturing, and service sectors, naturally within the environment of automaker VinFast. For 2026, the company plans an office in Southern California to accelerate the development and deployment of its industrial humanoids.
