Overview

The 4NE1 is the humanoid robot from German manufacturer Neura Robotics and is considered one of the most advanced in Europe. Initial industrial units are expected to be delivered by late 2026, with a smaller variant called the 4NE1 Mini intended for home and educational applications.

Construction

The robot stands 180 centimeters tall and weighs 80 kilograms. It is equipped with artificial skin and 360-degree perception and can lift loads of up to 100 kilograms according to the manufacturer. The batteries are hot-swappable during operation, allowing for runtimes of several hours.

Technology and AI

An Nvidia processor serves as the computing unit. Neura pursues a cognitive robotics approach in which perception, learning, and interaction are closely integrated.

Market Significance

With the 4NE1, Neura Robotics aims to demonstrate that humanoid robots can be developed and built competitively from Europe as well. The company from Baden-Württemberg is considered the leading European representative in this field.
