Overview

Kuavo is the humanoid robot series from Chinese company Leju Robotics, which focuses on the industrialization of humanoid robots. The generation around Kuavo 4 is part of a model family ranging from research and education to service and demonstration tasks.

Construction

The Kuavo models in this class are offered in sizes of approximately 1.5 to 1.66 meters depending on the variant and frequently achieve over 40 degrees of freedom for the entire body. Leju relies on its own specially developed joints with high torque.

Market Significance

Leju Robotics is among China's more well-known humanoid manufacturers and has attracted attention, among other things, by having a Kuavo serve as a torch bearer at the National Games 2025. The company has raised considerable capital and is preparing for an initial public offering. Concrete, definitively verified datasheets specifically for the Kuavo 4.0 designation are, however, only limitedly available publicly. In addition to this generation, variants such as Kuavo 4Pro and the newer Kuavo-5 are also offered.
