Overview

Kuavo is the humanoid robot series from Chinese company Leju Robotics. The machine is designed for commercial applications and for research and education, appearing for example as a guide in retail environments or as a teaching tool in training. Leju is among the providers already delivering humanoid robots in larger quantities.

Construction

The robot is approximately 140 centimeters tall and weighs around 45 kilograms. It features 26 degrees of freedom and can move in all directions at speeds of up to 4.6 kilometers per hour. A modular design allows for the exchange of various hands, from grippers to dexterous fingers.

Technology and AI

Kuavo runs on the KaihongOS operating system, which is based on Huawei's HarmonyOS. The robot supports imitation learning and integration of large AI models for real-time control.

Market Significance

According to its own information, Leju has delivered over one hundred fully-grown humanoids by 2025. The company has also raised significant funding to expand production.
