Overview

The T800 is the full-size general-purpose humanoid from Shenzhen-based manufacturer EngineAI and made its debut at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. It is aimed at industry and research and also serves as a platform for the company's humanoid combat robot league.

Construction

The T800 stands 173 centimeters tall and features approximately 29 degrees of freedom without the dexterous hands. Its skeleton is made of lightweight magnesium-aluminum alloy, powered by powerful joint modules with up to 450 newton-meters of peak torque. Energy is supplied by a solid-state battery.

Technology and AI

EngineAI develops its joints and drives entirely in-house. The T800 relies on high-performance computing units and a perception system with 360-degree vision to move dynamically and interact safely with its environment.

Market Significance

With an entry price of around 25,000 US dollars, the T800 ranks among the comparatively affordable humanoids in its class. EngineAI thus joins the growing group of Chinese manufacturers that aim to offer humanoid robots in larger quantities and at declining prices.
