Overview

The Agile ONE is Agile Robots' first humanoid robot, a company specializing in intelligent automation based in Munich. It was unveiled at the end of 2025. Built for industrial use, it is designed to work as a collaborative robot, moving between workstations, working closely with humans, and autonomously handling tasks in manufacturing and logistics.

Design

At 174 centimeters tall and weighing 69 kilograms, the Agile ONE moves on two legs at speeds of up to two meters per second, roughly matching human pace. It features approximately 40 degrees of freedom and can carry payloads of up to 20 kilograms. Particularly notable are its highly dexterous hands with 21 joints each, equipped with integrated force and tactile sensors. Expressive eyes, a chest display, and light signals make its status visible to the people around it.

Technology and AI

The robot is trained using real industrial data, extensive simulations, and teleoperation. This data feeds Agile Robots' proprietary Robot Foundation Models, which enable the Agile ONE to execute complex tasks with greater precision and adaptability. Cameras, LiDAR sensors, and speech recognition provide spatial awareness and enable natural communication with its environment.

Market Significance

The Agile ONE is one of the few industry humanoids manufactured in Europe and is set to enter series production in early 2026 at a dedicated facility in Bavaria. This positions a German company in a race that has so far been dominated by the US and China.
