Overview

The Lingxi X2 is a compact humanoid robot from Chinese company AgiBot (Zhiyuan Robotics), unveiled in March 2025. It is positioned as a generalist robot with a focus on locomotion, interaction, and task intelligence.

Design

The X2 stands 1.3 meters tall, weighs approximately 33.8 kilograms, and features 28 degrees of freedom. It is built from in-house developed components, including a cerebellum controller, domain controller, intelligent energy management, and core joint modules. The outer shell is made of flexible material intended to enable safe contact with people in close proximity. In demonstrations, the robot can walk, run, dance, and even ride a bicycle.

Technology and AI

For perception, the X2 uses a Visual Language Model. AgiBot describes the robot as interactive and states that it can react to human actions in the millisecond range.

Market Significance

The Lingxi X2 is targeted at enterprise use with a price range of approximately 30,000 to 50,000 US dollars, while an entry-level configuration is reportedly significantly lower. The robot represents AgiBot's transition to series production. According to the company, the 5,000th humanoid of the Lingxi X2 line rolled off the production line, which was viewed as a sign of production readiness.
