Overview

The A2 is a humanoid robot made by Shanghai-based AgiBot, also known as Zhiyuan Robotics, which was founded in 2023. The model is offered in several variants for different service and industrial applications.

Construction

The standard version is 169 centimeters tall and weighs 69 kilograms, with heavier variants reaching up to 85 kilograms. The robot features more than 40 degrees of freedom. Depending on the configuration, batteries of varying sizes are used.

Technology and AI

The A2 is equipped with an AI computing unit of approximately 200 TOPS and is designed for tasks in service and manufacturing. AgiBot develops some of the software and models in-house.

Market Significance

According to its own data, AgiBot delivered more than 5,000 humanoid robots in 2025, making it one of the world's largest producers by unit volume. The company is among the driving forces of the Chinese robotics industry.
