Overview

Songxing is a humanoid from Chinese manufacturer Siasun Robot & Automation. It was unveiled in the context of the World Robot Conference. In addition to the biped Songxing, Siasun also showcased a wheeled variant called Songyi.

Design

Songxing is designed as a biped full-body humanoid capable of walking and handling objects with both arms as well as operating tools.

Technology and AI

The robot employs multimodal perception for environment sensing and interaction through natural language. The in-house developed dual-arm system is designed to execute multiple tasks in parallel and handle grasping, transport, sorting, and stacking at different heights. Siasun specifies a manipulation accuracy of approximately ±0.05 millimeters.

Market Significance

Songxing is oriented toward industrial research, stable locomotion, and human-robot collaboration, and is also used in training and exhibitions.
