Overview

DUCO is a series of collaborative robotic arms from Chinese manufacturer Siasun. It is not a humanoid, but rather a six-axis cobot designed for flexible automation in close proximity to humans.

Construction

The DUCO cobots are designed as serial, articulated arms with six degrees of freedom, the most common configuration for general industrial handling. Depending on the model, the product line covers payload classes of approximately 3 to 30 kilograms. One representative, the GCR16-2000, offers 2000 millimeters of reach and up to 16 kilograms of payload capacity with a repeatability of approximately ±0.05 millimeters.

Technology and AI

The arms support common communication interfaces such as TCP/IP, Modbus TCP, Profinet, EtherNet/IP and RS485. An IP65 protection rating makes them suitable for dusty and humid industrial environments.

Market Significance

The DUCO and GCR series is designed for safe human-robot operations in assembly, machine loading, inspection, painting and polishing, thereby covering a broad range of applications.
