Overview

IGRIS-C is a humanoid robot developed by Korean company Robros, designed to bridge the gap between AI research and industrial deployment. It was unveiled, among other venues, at CES 2026.

Design

The mid-sized robot measures 154 centimeters and weighs 60 kilograms. Excluding the hands, it has 31 degrees of freedom. Each hand is cable-driven, with actuators and joints connected via wires. This results in six active degrees of freedom per hand, with eleven total including passive axes.

Technology and AI

The lightweight hands each weigh approximately 300 grams and can carry up to three kilograms per hand. Robros highlights its own precision actuators, a well-designed concept for human-robot interaction, and algorithms for motion prediction and real-time situational adaptation. According to the manufacturer, the robot also mastered dynamic movements such as walking and jumping. Training employs imitation learning with RGB and depth sensor technology.

Market Relevance

Robros began selling the robot in 2025 and targets research institutions as well as applications in manufacturing and logistics.
