The N2 is the athlete in Noetix Robotics' lineup from Beijing. This 1.20 meter tall biped was introduced in early 2025 and made international headlines in April 2025 when two N2 teams secured top positions at the world's first half-marathon for humanoid robots in Beijing. The robot is manufactured in series and is freely available for order.

Design

Weighing 30 kilograms with 18 high-load joints, the N2 is engineered for dynamic movement. Peak torque of up to 120 newton-meters enables jumps, kicks, and even multiple consecutive backflips—a feat rarely demonstrated by significantly more expensive humanoids. The compact design makes it robust against falls and easy to transport.

Technology and AI

Inside, an Nvidia Jetson Orin processor handles computation. The 48-volt, 7 ampere-hour battery provides approximately two hours of operation. The N2 runs at speeds up to 3.2 meters per second and maintains balance even when bumped, thanks to trained control systems. In June 2026, Noetix presented a version at the Huawei Developer Conference running on the open-source OpenHarmony operating system, accompanied by a program equipping one hundred developer teams with robots.

Market Significance

With a price starting at 39,900 Yuan—roughly 5,500 US dollars—the N2 ranks among the most affordable high-performance humanoids on the market. Noetix thereby serves schools, universities, performance stages, and robot competitions, and has already secured a four-figure order for the education market with its smaller Bumi model. In early March 2026, the company announced a Series B funding round of one billion Yuan.
