The Futuring 2, also referred to as F2, is a humanoid home robot from Chinese company Futuring Robot. It was unveiled around April 2026. For this relatively new model, data is sometimes sparse and occasionally contradictory.

Design

The robot features 26 degrees of freedom, twelve of which are in the hands, and reaches a maximum speed of four kilometers per hour. Precise specifications regarding size, weight, and payload capacity could not be verified.

Technology and AI

Perception is provided by a high-resolution stereo vision system up to 4K, supported by an AI processing unit. At its core is a proprietary end-to-end architecture called AVLA, trained on extensive real household data. Battery specifications are not documented.

Market Significance

The Futuring 2 is offered starting at approximately 36,000 yuan, which converts to roughly 5,000 USD, making it remarkably affordable. It is intended as a life assistant for the home, for tasks such as tidying up, operating appliances, and accompanying seniors. Manufacturer specifications regarding operating hours and satisfaction are available but have not been independently verified. The status between prototype and production model remains unclear.
